A few of my favorite illustrations:
Heather's Wine Label
One year on my wife's birthday we made wine. I wanted to create a memorable label for her and was inspired by a wonderful trip to Portugal, where we were lucky enough to ride along on a motorcycle tour of Lisbon.

Jay's Birthday Card
After creating a birthday card for my manager she asked if I would do the same for a co-worker. I brainstormed over a few slices of pizza and decided a group cartoon illustration would be a fun way to express our gratitude for him on his birthday.

Zach's Book
A close friend asked me to create a custom illustration for the cover of a fantasy book he self published, Reclaiming the Soul of Halbert Halburt. After covering a large sheet in charcoal I slowly began to pull his vision for the title character from the page with a kneaded eraser. This subtractive process was fun and sort of like sculpting, only two-dimensional.
Once I had the image close to where I wanted it I took a photograph and into photoshop I went to make some minor adjustments.
